Gronsveld, 26th may 2020 – Half a year ago, Curfs Logistics was present at Transport Logistic Munich, world’s largest logistic trade fair, to show that Limburg is the European logistic hotspot. This message fits the vision, achievements and ambitions of Curfs Logistics. Following this vision, Curfs Logistics has quit their customized solution and has chosen for Boltrics’ branch standard.

From family company to all in one logistics service provider

In 1961, Curfs Logistics was founded as a family business. At that time, Curfs mainly focused on the transportation of fruit and milk. Nowadays, the organization has evolved into a full-service logistic service provider. Thanks to the combination of transportation, physical distribution, warehousing and value-added logistics, Curfs can distinguish itself by providing complete logistic packages. One of the promises in Curfs’ ‘All-in-one’ is 24/7 (realtime) insights in your inventory. Of course, a stable and qualitatively strong WMS is needed for this.

Growth by choosing for the branch standard

In the past years, Curfs Logistics used a custom-made solution to manage its 35.000 m2 large warehouse. To continue to grow and to follow its ambitions, Curfs has chosen for Boltrics’ 3PL Dynamics solution. “We have chosen to invest in a widely supported solution that can grow with us and that keeps us up to date in the future”, state Stan Bormans and Ryan Ploemmen – warehouse managers at Curfs Logistics. With modules as Cycle Counting and the EDI-Platform Datahub, solutions that are already familiar to the Boltrics peloton, Curfs has taken the first step into that future. With the help of the new WMS, the logistic service provider wants to focus on strategic partnerships and unburdening its customers even more with Curfs All-in-one. Automatic updates, new functionalities and Boltrics’ always up to date promise will help Curfs Logistics to use the new solution to aim for Europe’s leading position.
